Obituary for Donna Truslow Rogers – Passing of Museum Board Member

We are mourning the loss of our beloved board member Donna Rogers. May she Rest in Peace.

From the Loudoun Fairfax Hunt

With great sadness, we share the news of the passing of Master Donna T. Rogers.

Our community is deeply saddened to announce the loss of MFH Donna T. Rogers, a true matriarch of fox hunting in Northern Virginia whose influence, grace, and stewardship have shaped generations of horsemen and women.

Donna was not only a dedicated Master of Foxhounds, but also a beloved land conservationist, accomplished jockey, and steadfast guardian of the countryside we treasure.

Her passing is a profound loss to the entire hunt community.

Donna’s unwavering commitment to the land, the sport, and the people who make it all possible will be remembered with immense respect and gratitude. Her leadership, wisdom, and warmth have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A more formal tribute honoring Donna’s long and fulfilling life will follow in the coming days. In the meantime, we hold her family close in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

May her legacy continue to guide and inspire us in the seasons ahead.
