Please join us for an Exhibition Opening and Artist Reception – Cathy Zimmerman: Out in the Piedmont Hunt Country, Watercolors Exhibition & Sale, from 4-7 pm.
In a collection of more than 40 original watercolors by Middleburg’s foxhunter and artist, Cathy celebrates the beauty of the bucolic Virginia countryside as seen from the back of the horse. She masterfully captures the expansiveness and natural beauty of the Piedmont region. Some of Cathy’s pieces are whimsical. In a wide range of painting sizes, all beautifully framed, everyone is bound to find a lovely piece of the Virginia hunt country they would love to take home with them. Prices from $250. A portion of the proceeds is donated to support our nonprofit museum.
Original art note card sets, some of them accompany Cathy’s watercolors, are available in the Museum Gift Shop.
