She lived her entire life in the Piedmont area of Virginia. Upon her death she was a resident of Stephens City, VA. She is well known as being the official artist of the Gold Cup and of the West Virginia Breeders Cup Races. One will see many of her works adorn the halls at that facility. Most of her paintings are in private collections around the United States.
